Tinatin Papukashvili, founder of the event management company EVENTOR, talks with BM.GE about trends in the sector and notes that prices for services have increased.
According to her, event management is becoming more and more popular y-o-y, and therefore the competition in the market has increased.
"The festive season is starting now and we already have a certain number of pre-bookings.
Compared to last year, the prices have increased both in the direction of restaurants and services. Previously, the cost of event planning started from GEL 20,000, but now we had to increase the service prices by over 30%. The reason for this is that last year the cost of one person in a restaurant started from GEL 150, this year it costs – GEL 200. There is a demand from foreigners to plan an event in Georgia, about 30% of the demand is from Israel. In addition, negotiations are held with Asia and it is likely that we will have more Asian customers in the summer," says Papukashvili.
According to her, the company plans to work on large-scale events this year, for which negotiations are currently underway with several contractors. As a result, collaboration with one of the companies should be implemented. Collaboration means that the partner company will attract foreign customers, and "Eventor" will plan the event.
