Tbilisi Mayor’s Office starts a program which aims to train and re-train those citizens who have suffered from the pandemic – Tbilisi vice-Mayor Andria Basilaia stated today. The budget of the program amounts to 1 million GEL and it considers professional teaching and supporting the employment of those citizens who have lost their job during the pandemic.
Citizens 18 years and up are who will present a document that they have lost their job during the pandemic will be eligible for the program. It is planned to train 4 thousand beneficiaries, and Tbilisi Mayor estimates that 3500 people will find a job. Interested persons will have an opportunity to start registering on the webpage - dasakmdi.ge – since November 10.
Training will take place on the base of state vocational colleges since November 15. Short-term programs will last for 2 weeks. “The scale of the program will be larger in 2021” – Tbilisi Mayor’s Office declares
