Georgia’s Prosecutor General Giorgi Gvarakidze and his wife, Ketevan Atsquri, made several major purchases in 2025, according to Gvarakidze’s property declaration filed on July 17, 2026. Gvarakidze purchased a 187.8-square-meter apartment under construction on Givi Danelia Street in Tbilisi for $141,440, using proceeds from the sale of a previously owned apartment.
On December 24, 2025, Atsquri purchased a 2024 Toyota Corolla Cross for $15,500. Earlier that month, Gvarakidze sold his own vehicle for $6,700. Gvarakidze’s declared property also includes a 799.5-square-meter plot with buildings in Rokiti, Baghdati, purchased for $18,000 in 2022. Atsquri owns three apartments and two garages in Kutaisi, as well as a 5.5% share in a 531-square-meter plot near Sarajishvili Avenue in Tbilisi.
The declaration shows that Gvarakidze earned GEL 32,535.33 from the Special Investigation Service and GEL 89,989.61 from various positions in the Prosecutor’s Office in 2025, including Prosecutor of Tbilisi, First Deputy Prosecutor General and, from May 13, Prosecutor General. Atsquri earned GEL 29,698.17 at the Kutaisi Court of Appeals and GEL 10,031.44 at the Georgian National Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission. The family also reported rental income and a GEL 16,680 gift received by Atsquri from her father.
At the time of filing, the family held $32,000 and GEL 15,000 in cash, while bank deposits totaled GEL 14,700 and $4,262.36. Gvarakidze also reported three loans from Tera Bank, with total annual payments of GEL 35,582.15. The family spent GEL 15,000 on their children’s school fees and GEL 13,200 on a child’s surgery and rehabilitation, of which GEL 10,000 was covered by insurance.
