The Prosecutor’s Office of Georgia has issued a statement regarding the seizure of bank accounts belonging to several foundations.

According to the statement, on March 17, 2025, the Prosecutor’s Office, based on a court ruling, seized the bank accounts and funds of the following entities: Non-entrepreneurial Non-commercial Legal Entity (NNLE) “Nanuka’s Foundation,” NNLE “Prosperity,” NNLE “Fund for Each Other 24/7,” NNLE “Sirtsvilia,” and NNLE “Tbilisi Human Rights House.”

The Prosecutor’s Office claims that these funds were used to organize acts of violence.

“The organizational and financial activities of specific foundations are aimed at providing material assistance to lawbreakers and their families. Fines are being paid on behalf of violators, and other personal or organizational matters are being handled,” the statement reads.

According to the statement, the investigation has determined that these foundations provided material support to the perpetrators, with a significant portion of the collected funds allegedly used to finance gang violence and support individuals accused of participating in it.

Prosecutor’s Office states that the investigation is ongoing.
