"8000 Vintages" Was Opened In Berlin

Wine shop "8000 Vintages" entered the global market and opened another store in Germany, namely in Berlin, company founder Irakli Chkhaidze spoke about this in an interview with BM.GE.

According to him, the store in Berlin currently offers 230 names of wines, and this number will increase to 500-600 by September.

"Now the most important thing is to make Berliners fall in love with Qvevri wine, we want to raise the awareness of Georgian wine. This taste is foreign to them, although they have visited Georgia many times and know a lot about our country and Georgian wine. At this stage, we have 15 people employed in the store, the team consists of Georgians and Germans", he added.

Irakli Chkhaidze also spoke about the company's future plans and noted that the company will continue to expand from 2024.

"The mission of 8000 Vintages is to make Georgian wine available to the world. In the future, the company will continue on this path based on its mission. In addition, in 2024, we will add another store-bar in Georgia," he said.

8000 Vintages was founded in 2016, the company currently has five stores in Georgia, 4 of them are located in Tbilisi, while 1 - is in Batumi.
