"August" starts production of frozen bread and croissants. As the co-founder of the company, Kristine Morchiladze said while visiting BMGTV, the product will probably appear in August branches for testing, and they plan to sell it officially in September.
"Before the products are frozen, they will go through a certain technological process in order to get the final look. The products are semi-ready, frozen by thermal method, and packed. When the customer buys the product, it will be left at room temperature for 10 minutes before it can be baked.
Now we are in the process of technological development and we want to start selling in September. It is possible to sell it in several branches in August as a test, but we will officially put it into production later," said Kristine Morchiladze.
As for the types of croissants, as Morchiladze explains, chocolate is also made at the Nakhakhtari factory, so it will be possible to purchase their own chocolate along with frozen croissants.
The company "August" has been operating on the market since 2019. At the moment, the bread and pastry boulangerie has seven branches.
