The Embassy of Sweden in Tbilisi issued a following statement regarding the draft law approved by the Georgian Parliament on the first hearing today.
”Georgian draft law on “agents of foreign influence” is inconsistent with the European norms and values, and with Georgia’s EU aspirations. Civil society and free media are at the core of democracy, development and EU integration. They will continue to have full Swedish support.” - writes H.E.Ulrik Tideström, Ambassador of Sweden to Georgia on the Twitter account.
