"Igoeti" started production of Georgian hot, spicy paste Adjika with Cherry additives. Vazha Iluridze, the commercial director of the company notes that the new product has no analogs in the world.
According to the representative of "Igoeti", in addition to cherries, the company also added 10-15 other types of dried fruits to Adjika as an experiment and as a result, they are working on improving some more products.
As Vazha Iluridze says, the new product has gained special interest from the Japanese side, because this type of Ajika is close to the flavors of Japanese cuisine, although the "Igoeti" company plans to make exports to European and American markets as well.
"In addition, we recently returned from London, where our enterprise was presented at one of the world leading exhibitions International Food & Drink Expo 2023. The negotiations with the local companies are still at the introductory stage, so I will refrain from naming them.
I know for sure that these products have great potential in the European markets, which is confirmed by our visits to different countries. We actively cooperate with Holland as well. In America, the product is inspected at the Costco chain. We try to grab with foreign markets as much as possible", Vazha Iluridze says.
As for the Georgian market, Igoeti products are represented in the supermarket chain Fresco.
"Igoeti" enterprise has been operating on the market since 2020 and currently produces up to 18 types of spices.
