Tamar Bagdavadze says that the decision was unexpected for them and there was no relevant communication with the sector.
According to Baghdavadze, the hotel sector will not be able to increase prices in the short term, because there is no demand for their services, but the founder of Hotel Coste does not rule out price growth on the market in the long run.
"It is ridiculous that we heard about gas tariff increase by almost 24 tetri without warning and agreement. The increase in gas tariffs will definitely affect our activities, because hotels already pay very high gas tariffs. As for the price increase for the customer, the business in this direction cannot increase the prices, because there are no tourists in the country and we do not expect anything to change until next spring," said Tamar Baghdavadze, the founder of the Hotel Coste.
