Georgian brand "Kirke", a manufacturer of soaps and cosmetics, is planning to expand the enterprise. Its founder, Nana Tavkhelidze, spoke about the company's future plans with BM.GE.
According to her, she is looking for a grant to expand the 20 square m enterprise.
"In 2020, I won a grant of GEL 20,000 from Enterprise Georgia. This amount helped me to equip my own 20 sq.m. space with the necessary inventory for the production of soaps and cosmetics and to establish it as an enterprise. Since then, we have grown a lot and there is a need to expand the space", says Nana Tavkhelidze.
As for the exports, according to the founder, it is very difficult to sell handmade soaps abroad, because there is no special laboratories in Georgia, which will make certification of the products.
Kirke products are sold on their "Facebook" page. The price of handmade soaps is from GEL 15 to GEL 20, and the maximum price of cosmetics and personal care products is GEL 60.
