According to the Minister of Health Ekaterine Tikaradze, clinics must transfer COVID patients with mild symptoms to the hotels and they should use ventilators and oxygenated breathing devices for severe patients.

“We had a meeting with hospital sector today and on November 14. We talked about the effective management of respiratory equipment in the clinical sector. We have 257 patients in the country who need mechanical ventilators. In addition, we have more than 900 seriously ill patients who need oxygenated breathing devices, the rest are in a mild condition and clinics can transfer them to the hotels.

We are dealing with inefficient management on which we have consulted, agreed on these issues and clinics will improve management so that respiratory devices and oxygen will be mobilized for the patients who need it. 1,040 respirators and up to 3,400 oxygenated breathing devices are mobilized. We do not have a collapse in this regard," said the Minister of Health.
