Emergent reconstruction of the bridge across the Ksani River at the international-significance Tbilisi-Ksani-Leselidze highway will be completed on August 5, the Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure reported.
The road’s concrete cover was damaged on the bridge, and the traffic has been restricted since June 5. The piers were fortified and putting of asphalt-concrete cover will take up to 10-14 days.
The Roads Department apologized to drivers and passengers for the inconvenience.
