The price of natural gas in Tbilisi will be reduced by 11 tetri for commercial cusomers from September, while by 13 tetri in the regions. The corresponding change will affect "SOCAR Georgia Gas" customers in the regions, and "Tbilisi Energy" customers in the capital city of Tbilisi. The gas distribution companies announced about the mentioned decision.
Aleksandre Ratishvili, director of confectionery production company "Madame De", positively evaluated the decrease in the natural gas tariff and says that the 11-tetri reduction of the enterprise will save thousands of GEL.
"This year, we have sepnt over GEL 50,000 on the natural gas. 11 tetri reduction will save us thousands of GEL. I won't say anything new, in Georgia, unfortunately, utility bills have a major share in the cost of production," says Aleksandre Ratishvili.
From September, the commercial tariff for "Tbilisi Energy" customers will be 1.24 tetri instead of 1.35 tetri, and in the case of "SOCAR Georgia Gas" the new tariff will be 1.25 tetri instead of 1.38 tetri from September.
