Regulator Sets New Tariffs for Khramhes I and II Hydropower Plants

The Georgian National Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission (GNERC) has approved new electricity tariffs for the regulated hydropower plants Khramhes I and Khramhes II, to be applied from January 2026 through January 2027.

According to the decision, Khramhesi II will supply electricity at a tariff of 4.259 tetri per kWh, while the tariff for Khramhesi I has been set at 4.764 tetri per kWh for the same period.

The Commission also established daily fees under the Public Service Obligation (PSO) scheme for several generating companies. GPower LLC will receive 40,266 GEL per day, Georgian International Energy Corporation LLC will receive 58,096 GEL per day, Mtkvari Energy LLC will receive 76,319 GEL per day, and Gardabani Thermal Power Plant LLC will receive 325,793 GEL per day.

These tariffs and PSO fees will apply throughout the 2026 regulatory period.
