Remittances inflows increased by 5.6% YoY and were primarily driven by growing remittances from the EU (+20.6% YoY). Remittances decreased from CIS (-2.7% YoY), while slightly increased from other countries (+0.5% YoY) including 24.1% drop from Turkey. Remittance inflows went up by 16.0% in 9m 2018. Compared to the same period of previous year, the balance of trade in goods, remittances, and tourism revenues improved substantially by 56.6 mln USD YoY in September 2018. In the first nine months of 2018, balance of inflows from these sources improved by 266.6 mln USD.
