Former Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia has submitted a new asset declaration as a former Member of Parliament. The document shows that his family both rents properties in Europe and earns income from renting out real estate.
According to the declaration, from August 2025 to February 2026, Gakharia rented an apartment in Berlin, Germany.
Berlin rental expenses:
- Monthly rent: €1,790
- Total paid during the lease: €11,464
- Additional costs: a refundable deposit of €2,500, a one-time cleaning fee of €309, and a €45 service fee.
While Gakharia had rental expenses in Germany, his family simultaneously earned income from renting out an apartment in France. His wife, Marika Pantsulaia, owns an 83 sq.m. apartment in Le Perreux-sur-Marne, purchased in 2020 for €472,400.
The apartment is rented out from August 2024 to August 2026.

- Monthly income: €2,000
- Annual income (2025): €24,000

Gakharia owns two land plots in Chkhorotsku, acquired in 2023:
- 3,385 sq.m. plot with structures in the village of Mukhuri
- Another 2,792 sq.m. plot in the same village
Both plots were purchased in 2020 for a total of 85,000 GEL through installment payments, fully settled in 2023.
Vehicles
No vehicles are registered under Gakharia’s name. Two cars belong to his wife:
- Toyota RAV4, purchased in 2016 for $22,000
- Toyota C-HR, 2019 model, purchased in 2021 for €22,000
Income and Expenses
- Marika Pantsulaia earned 22,431 GEL in 2025 working at Aversi Central Clinic.
- The family spent 14,363 GEL on their daughter Anna Gakharia’s tuition.
Bank Accounts
- Pantsulaia has €20,111 deposited in Caisse d’Epargne, a French bank.
The declaration lists no other movable assets, securities, or cash exceeding 10,000 GEL.
