Residential Complex for 800 Displaced Families Under Construction in Rustavi, Budget GEL 80.9 MLN

In 2025, the Didube District Administration spent GEL 28.6 million on local infrastructure and social projects, according to a report presented by Governor Davit Gelovani. The projects included improvements in road networks, drainage systems, recreational areas, and sports facilities across the Didube and Digomi districts.

Road infrastructure was upgraded at 48 addresses, covering 26,926 sq. m, and drainage systems were installed at 15 locations. The administration also rehabilitated 28 recreation areas, replaced equipment in 128 squares, and fully renovated 19 sports fields. A multifunctional sports field was constructed in the Digomis Masivi following the dismantling of 60 garages, and in total, 103 unsightly garages were removed throughout the district.

The district administration also planted 1,581 trees and addressed 22,078 citizens’ applications related to healthcare and social programs, including financing surgery and treatment for 2,689 residents. Under the Homeowners’ Associations Support Program, 166 projects were completed, including roof and gutter replacements, elevator rehabilitation, and installation of underground utilities.

Infrastructure upgrades extended to seven public schools, and the administration organized six cultural and sports events this year. In addition, a residential complex for 800 displaced families is currently being built in Rustavi, with a total budget of GEL 80.9 million, reflecting ongoing efforts to improve housing and urban living conditions.
