A total of 330,559 international trucks crossed Georgia’s customs checkpoints in January-August 2026, generating GEL 115.7 million in road-use fees for the state budget, according to Treasury Service data.
The revenue was 4.6% higher, or GEL 5.09 million more, than in the same period of 2025, when 316,014 trucks crossed the country and paid GEL 110.6 million in fees.
In August alone, 44,314 trucks used Georgia’s roads for transit, contributing GEL 15.42 million to the state budget.
The increase in truck traffic and related revenues comes as Georgia continues to serve as a key transit link between Europe and Asia through the Middle Corridor.
