Due to the landslide that occurred near the 147th kilometer of the Tbilisi-Senaki-Leselidze highway (on the Chumateleti-Khevi section), the work on the slope, as well as cleaning and widening of the roadway was going on throughout the night.
As a result of the works, in the afternoon, traffic will be restored on the km 114-km 194 section of the international Tbilisi-Senaki-Leselidze highway (Akhalsofeli traffic junction-Zestafoni) only for truck transport.
Since on April 11, it was not possible to let pass truck transport according to the established regime, on April 12, only trucks will drive through the section of Rikoti, throughout the day and night.
On April 12, light vehicles will again be able to move in the direction of Gomi-Sachkhere-Chiathura-Zestafoni.
From 07:00 on April 13, the traffic on the section of Rikoti will be restored according to the established special regime, namely:
From 07:00 to 19:00, movement from km 114 (Akhalsofeli junction) to km 194 (Zestafoni) of the Tbilisi-Senaki-Leselidze highway will be allowed only for light vehicles. From 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., only trucks will move on the same section. Trucks will move under the strict supervision of the patrol, at intervals, without stopping, and in reverse, i.e. one-way, by changing the direction.
