“Clearing operations are proceeding continuously on both international and domestic roads, with appropriate equipment already mobilized for roads leading to villages,” announced Georgia’s Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure, Irakli Karseladze.
The Minister emphasized that all necessary equipment and human resources are already deployed on site.
“All relevant ministries and services are involved. Work is being carried out in coordination according to a specific plan. We believe that communication will be established with currently unreachable locations.
At the same time, it should be noted that international and domestic roads have been cleared, and work will continue. The heavy snowfall has created significant problems and challenges. However, appropriate responses in terms of mobilization, relevant works, and measures have been planned,” stated Irakli Karseladze.
