Sakcable, the largest producer of cable products in Georgia, is starting to export to European and Asian countries, - the general director of the company, Davit Kapanadze, told Forbes Week, noting that they are at the stage of signing a contract with partners.
"Africa is also interesting, but we could not manage to enter this market in 2022, due to global and logistical problems, although it is planned to actively work on this issue in 2023.
Next week, our team members are going to Europe and Asia for negotiations. Every country has different requirements for cable products, we received their requirements, make samples and send them. Now, we are at the stage of concluding a contract and this process will be completed in the near future," said Davit Kapanadze.
The general director of the company summarizes last year's results and notes that Sakcable ended 2022 with 35% growth and new projects. As he notes, they reequipped the factory and invested GEL 4 million. Until now, the product was sold only in large hypermarkets, now it has appeared in all stores in the regions, as the company thinks, this part will make up 15% of their sales by the end of the year.
The company employs 200 people in the factory, located in Zestaponi. Sakcable has been operating in the market for 65 years and its store is represented in all regions of Georgia.
