Real estate company "Sakura Properties" offers clients investment opportunities in Dubai real estate.
"A very large Georgian restaurant chain has already contacted us and said they are looking for 2000 sq/meters in Dubai to open a restaurant in a premium location", - Victoria Sakurova told BMG.
According to her, she personally visited Dubai this January, where Sakura Properties signed a memorandum with real estate agency Kalaani Realtors.
"The founder of Kalaani Realtors [today] came to Georgia on a business trip to better study our market.
The purpose of the memorandum is to create an alternative investment destination for investors, including Georgians, where they can safely invest over USD 200,000 in the real estate sector under good conditions.
As you know, due to Georgia's political situation, investing in the local real estate market was no longer safe for some clients, so we wanted to offer them an alternative.
Sakura Properties also has connections with Portuguese and Spanish brokerage companies, but at this stage, we considered that given the recognition and budget, Dubai's market would be the most interesting - the safest city where real estate prices keep increasing," - stated Victoria Sakurova.
According to her, despite it being only one month since they signed the memorandum with Kalaani Realtors, people interested in purchasing real estate in Dubai are already calling Sakura Properties.
"We're receiving calls from both individuals and businesses. As I mentioned, one of the large Georgian restaurant chains contacted us. Businesses are mainly interested in the Dubai market for expansion purposes, while small and medium-sized investors/individuals want to invest in a safe environment," - noted Sakurova and reiterated that safety is one of the main factors for investing in Dubai real estate."In Dubai, the price per square meter for residential real estate starts from USD 4000; real estate has the same price in Tbilisi well, but it's not about the price - safety is the main thing. I hope I'll be able to say the same about Georgia by the end of the year or at least next year," - states the real estate company owner.
