Samantha Power, the head of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), confirmed the commitment of the United States to support Armenia. She announced this on her page on social network X, noting that she expressed her readiness to assist Armenia in various areas.

Samantha Power emphasized USAID's readiness to continue close cooperation with Armenia and provide ongoing support to government programs aimed at strengthening and developing democracy.

Power's meeting with the Armenian delegation took place on April 5th in Brussels. During the meeting, the head of USAID stated the intention of the United States to support Armenia in deepening democratic reforms, expanding the economy, and striving for a bright future.

It is noteworthy that the meeting took place in the context of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's visit to Brussels. The Prime Minister presented Armenia's implemented plans and further steps, emphasizing the importance of support provided by international partners, including the United States, especially to forcibly displaced persons from Nagorno-Karabakh.
