Kutaisi has welcomed a new culinary spot on Agmashenebeli Street with the official opening of “Sami Street Bistro.”
The establishment is the joint project of three friends: Ani Arsenidze, Tamar Abzianidze, and Nini Maghlakelidze, who decided to launch their own venture after years of working with well-known brands. Their vision was to bring high-quality street food to the Kutaisi market, filling a gap they identified through research.
“We noticed there was no space in Kutaisi where people could enjoy quality street food and taste dishes from different countries. Our menu includes Turkish, Greek, and American street foods. In the American section, we especially highlight corn dogs, which, as far as I know, are not yet available in Kutaisi,” said co-founder Ani Arsenidze in an interview with BM.GE.
For the initial stage, "Sami Street Bistro" will focus exclusively on on-site service, as the founders want to personally oversee quality before expanding into delivery platforms.
“We are actively involved in every process, from purchasing products to working in the kitchen. Our goal is to consistently provide customers with high-quality food and service,” Arsenidze added.
The bistro’s interior can accommodate 25 guests, with an additional 20–25 seats available on the terrace. At launch, the business employs eight staff members.
The total investment in the project exceeds 120,000 GEL, underscoring the founders’ commitment to establishing a strong presence in Kutaisi’s growing dining scene.
With its international menu and focus on quality, Sami Street Bistro aims to become a go-to destination for both locals and visitors looking for a fresh and diverse street food experience in the city.
