Schuchmann Wines Chateau Villa & SPA has joined the international Hotels & Préférence network, marking a major step in positioning Georgia’s Kakheti region on the global luxury hospitality map. The Schuchmann Group’s CEO, Nutsa Abramishvili, told BM.GE that the partnership will place their property alongside hundreds of prestigious European resorts and châteaux.
The collaboration, which began last year, aims to attract more high-spending tourists to Kakheti by leveraging the French company’s expertise in branding, marketing, and international promotion. Abramishvili emphasized that joining Hotels & Préférence was a meticulous process, reflecting the group’s unique combination of wine production, wellness offerings, and gastronomy.
According to Abramishvili, the platform primarily features properties from French wine regions, historic châteaux, and long-established hotels, and inclusion requires a high standard of service and uniqueness. She highlighted that Schuchmann’s European roots and experience in hospitality and wine production made them an ideal fit.
The CEO also noted that the partnership will help market both the company and the Kakheti region abroad, giving Georgia a stronger presence in the global tourism sector and positioning Schuchmann’s château next to world-renowned Bordeaux properties.
