Sevsamora Winery has earned a silver medal for its Tsinandali wine at the prestigious Bolnisi Wine Festival of Origin, according to Tamar Chigvinadze, manager of the company.

Founded in 2015, Sevsamora has been actively operating in the market since 2018, producing a diverse range of wines. "Currently, we offer around 30 different wines, half of which are organic," said Chigvinadze in an interview with BM.GE.

The company cultivates 7 hectares of vineyards in the village of Jighaura, Kakheti - 4 hectares of which are maintained under organic farming standards. Sevsamora produces approximately 60% of its wine from its own grapes, sourcing the remaining quantity from local farms.

“Our wines are primarily sold in various wine establishments across Tbilisi, and we are proud that sales have been growing year by year,” noted Chigvinadze. The winery’s products are priced between 25 and 130 GEL on the local market.

Sevsamora is now setting its sights on international expansion, with plans to enter the Italian and Spanish markets. Chigvinadze shared that the winery’s recent participation in an international exhibition in Italy yielded positive feedback during tastings, which she says has strengthened the company's motivation to pursue exports.
