Nikoloz Gamkrelidze, general director of Georgian Healthcare Group declares that the shipment of commercial COVID-vaccine makes no sense at this stage.
As the head of GHG notes, the issue of shipping commercial vaccines may raise in the need of booster doses of COVID-19 vaccines.
“The global shortage of vaccines is declining and we have not worked on this issue since the beginning of this year. Now all age restrictions are being lifted and we think that shipment of a commercial vaccine makes no sense. Maybe in the fall, the so-called booster doses will be needed and we will work on that; I am sure we will be able to ship the vaccines,” said Nikoloz Gamkrelidze.
