Shota Rustaveli Boutique Hotel in central Tbilisi says it increased its average daily room rates by around 10% this year compared to 2025, despite a slight decline in occupancy during May.
General Manager Nino Chubinidze told BMG that the first half of the year was affected by geopolitical tensions in the Middle East, particularly the conflict involving Israel, as Israeli travelers make up a significant share of the hotel's guests. However, demand recovered strongly from late April, allowing the hotel to meet its business targets.
Room rates, including breakfast, currently range between GEL 300 and GEL 450 per night. Chubinidze noted that while occupancy in May was slightly lower than last year, the hotel successfully sold rooms at higher prices.
Looking ahead, the hotel expects a strong autumn season. More than half of the available rooms for August and September have already been booked, with September traditionally remaining one of the busiest months for tourism and business travel in Tbilisi.
