According to Giorgi Abramishvili, the business needs to have stability and justice in the country, and for this, the private sector must raise its voice and take effective steps.
“We should raise our voice - when our children are beaten on the street and arrested. It is our obligation, first and foremost, as citizens, to ensure that this does not happen again. On the other hand, silence and indifference will return to business like a boomerang. We are not a country rich in minerals or other natural resources; by the way, one of the most important resources we have is renewable energy. The main investments in this sector are from the West - the Czech Republic, Germany, the Netherlands... It is unthinkable for them to make investments in such an unstable country as Georgia is now, where justice has lost its meaning.
The most important thing is that everything loses its meaning when you live in a country where dignity and freedom are violated. Therefore, it is unthinkable to continue living as usual and be fair to our children; it is impossible to think about creating some wealth when we see what has been happening in the country for the 14th day now. In short, justice must be restored,” said the managing partner of Energy Solutions.
