Sophia Chkonia, founder of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Tbilisi focuses that the Georgian economy cannot withstand the third lockdown. In addition, Chkonia does not see its need today.
“Observing COVID-regulations are more important than the lockdown. The face mask wearing rate has dropped from 70% to 43%. We must ensure that there is no need for a lockdown, partly it depends on us, otherwise, neither the economy nor the psyche of people will withstand another lockdown," - said Sopho Chkonia.
The healthcare system does not yet declare if there will be another lockdown, though the launch of the third wave is already obvious.
