Sophio Katsarava: maintenance of security and stability constitute the guarantee of democratic and economic development of our country
The Chair of the Foreign Relations Committee, Sophio Katsarava met with the British MP, Shadow Minister for Peace and Disarmament, Fabian Hamilton. “Our efforts and resources are directed to peaceful resolution of the conflict and to unification of the people divided with the artificial barriers”, - she noted. The parties touched upon Britain-Georgia relations and the role of the Parliaments. The parties discussed the gross violation of human rights on the occupied territories, peaceful resolution of the conflict and the Governmental initiative “Step to better future”. S. Katsarava emphasized the top priorities of foreign policy of Georgia and the challenges the country encounters. “Maintenance of security and stability constitute the guarantee of democratic and economic development of our country”, - she noted.
