Spacefarms increased production. Tusa Garibashvili, the founder of Spacefarms, spoke about this on the air of "Women's Narrative".
"Now we have already moved to a new stage, as we have increased production and our products will be sold in various facilities. We will work on this for the next two months. We are focused on growing products that are not available in Georgia, in many cases they are imported from abroad. Such unique plants as sage, green basil, Thai basil are already available to our customers even in winter," said Tusa Garibashvili.
Spacefarms is located on the area of 150 square meters. However, as the farm is vertical, the total area is 7 times more.
"Spacefarms receives a total of 500 kilograms of lettuce, and we produce up to 50 kilograms of microgreens per month," says Tusa Garibashvili.
Tusa Garibashvili created the first vertical greenhouse in 2019, which provides consumers with ecologically clean vegetables and herbs. In the farm, solar energy is replaced by LED lighting.
