Imereti Agro Zone, a state owned LLC with the main aim and goal to create a Greenhouse Cluster Development in Imereti Region is going to buy consulting service worth of GEL 3.5 million. The company submitted relevant application to the State Procurement Agency.
According to the tender, the consulting company must prepare a Greenhouse Cluster Development project.
Imereti Agro Zone LLC was established in 2017 under the management of the Ministry of Environment and Agriculture. The state-owned company manages land area of 220 ha in Tskaltubo Municipality, on which it invites private investors to develop greenhouses. It is aimed at attracting private investors that a new document should be developed by a consulting company.
“The subject of the procurement is consulting services for the Greenhouse Cluster Development (GHCD) project of Imereti Agro Zone (IAZ) LLC through a tender in 2022-2023. This GHCD project is initiated by Imereti Agro Zone LLC and supported by the Rural Development Agency and the Ministry of Environment Protection and Agriculture of Georgia. The main purpose of this procurement is to carry out the required works, as defined in the RfP document published on November 1, 2021, ”the document reads.
By the initiative of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia and Rural Development Agency, Imereti Agro Zone announced Request for Proposal for The Greenhouse Cluster Development project on November 1 st , 2021. The project ensures to build external and internal infrastructures. Access from national highway, internal roads with direct access to individual land plots by public transport, fencing entire perimeter, security systems, and essential utility Infrastructure – Electricity, Gas, Water and Sewage systems on both production sites.
