Station, located in Asureti, will host the Goldenfest festival for the fourth time this year, with events scheduled across three weekends: September 19-20, September 26-27 and October 3-4.
According to Station founder Rusudan Baratashvili, interest in the festival has grown significantly since its launch, and advance reservations are now necessary due to high demand. “After the first weekend, we realized how important this event was and that all places needed to be booked in advance,” she said.
Baratashvili noted that businesses have also become increasingly involved, with companies attending the festival with their teams. Groups of 10-20 employees participate together, making the event a team-building opportunity as well.
The festival has also gained popularity among families and groups of friends, with children taking part in various games and workshops. Goldenfest is inspired by Asureti’s history as a German settlement and its traditional celebrations, featuring live music, competitions, German pretzel and sausage-making workshops, as well as German and Georgian food and beer.
