NATO secretary general Jens Stoltenberg discussed the war in Ukraine during a joint press conference with Armenian prime minister Nikol Pashinyan in Yerevan on March 19, welcoming the prime minister of Armenia's solidarity with Ukraine.
"I urge all colleagues to do everything in their power to prevent Putin from winning his aggressive war. The situation on the battlefield remains critical, so support should be increased, not diminished. If Putin succeeds in Ukraine, there is a real risk that his aggression will not stop there," he said.
Stoltenberg delivered a similar message regarding the Ukrainian war from Baku on March 17. Before arriving in Armenia, the NATO secretary general visited Azerbaijan and Georgia.
Earlier, Armenian prime minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that Yerevan is not an ally of Moscow on the issue of Ukraine.
