Businessman Temur Chkhonia recommends Georgian citizens get active regarding the draft law on Foreign Agents, initiated by "People's Power" in the parliament.

As he stated while talking to BM.GE, Georgian legislators should not accept the draft law in the conditions of such great opposition in society and the current situation in the world. Chkhonia believes that this bill hinders Georgia's European integration and students should be actively involved in this process.

"Students have a very big role in the adoption of this law. The person who developed this law has 10 years left to live, and after 10 years, when the life of students begins in the international arena, the law adopted by their ancestors will come before them, so students should not wait for the law adopted by the old generation, they should create their own future.

Personally, as Temur Chkhonia and a citizen of Georgia, I am categorically opposed to the adoption of such laws in Georgia, which block our country's path to European integration. When the whole world tells you that they don't like this law, you must not oppose it. They compete with each other because they don't want to give up their opinion," says Chkhonia.
