Subsistence minimum for working-age male amounted to GEL 246.8 in August 2022, which was GEL 1.5 more compared to the same period of the last year, - show data from the National Statistics Office of Georgia (Geostat).
The increase in the subsistence minimum is related with high inflation, as the inflation rate stood at 10.9% in August.
The subsistence minimum has increased by GEL 25.7 GEL compared to the same period last year.
