Subsistence minimum for working-age male amounted to GEL 253.9 in October 2022, which was GEL 6.6 more compared to the same period of the last year, - show data from the National Statistics Office of Georgia (Geostat).
The subsistence minimum is increased by GEL 29.7 compared to the same period of the previous year.
According to Geostat, in October, subsistence minimum of an average customer increased by 5.8 GEL compared to the previous month and amounted to GEL224.9. The increase in the subsistence minimum is related with high inflation.
