On January 17, 2026, the Georgian National Ballet “Sukhishvili” will make its debut at Carnegie Hall in New York - performing for the first time in its nearly eight-decade history on one of the world’s most prestigious stages. The event is executive-produced by the U.S.-based cultural management company Emolas Corporation.

Emolas Corporation’s strategic mission is to present Georgian and European cultural heritage on American stages and to foster international cultural dialogue.

“Our mission is to build bridges among nations and promote meaningful cultural exchange. We believe that cultural exchange plays a vital role in strengthening ties between countries - especially between Georgia and the United States,” says Salome Liluashvili-Parks, founder of Emolas Corporation.

Through Salome’s initiative, Sukhishvili’s debut at Carnegie Hall has become a reality - positioning Georgia’s choreographic legacy on one of the most prestigious stages in the world.

“Performing at Carnegie Hall - a legendary venue - represents both a profound responsibility and a great honor. It is a historic milestone in our ensemble’s journey,” - notes Nino Sukhishvili, Director of the Georgian National Ballet Sukhishvili.

Founded in 1945 by Iliko Sukhishvili and Nino Ramishvili, Sukhishvili is today led by the founders’ third generation - Nino Sukhishvili (CEO) and Iliko Sukhishvili Jr. (Artistic Director). Over nearly eight decades, the ensemble has toured more than 90 countries and performed before more than 50 million spectators worldwide, bringing Georgian dance to the most distinguished stages across the globe.

The Carnegie Hall performance will feature a curated selection of the ensemble’s most celebrated works, accompanied by a live orchestra. The event marks the culmination of a three-day cultural program in New York City, which begins on January 16 with an official diplomatic reception at Rockefeller Center - a large-scale cultural celebration uniting artists, organizers, and international guests.

The three-day program will engage an elite, multicultural audience of thousands attendees, including representatives of the diplomatic corps, cultural institutions, and prominent figures from the arts and business sectors. Together, these events represent a significant step in strengthening the global presence and recognition of Georgian culture.
