The Swiss Agricultural School "Caucasus" is working on expanding its range of dairy products. Tina Makharadze , director of the school, told BMGTV about this.
According to her, until now the company sold only cheese and milk, however, in the wake of the milk scandal and increased demand, their company decided to expand production and add basic products such as cottage cheese, sour cream and butter.
It is worth noting that the Swiss School "Caucasus" opened its own branded store Margaliti Collection on Vera Street on March 1, where, in addition to their products, they have brought together the best quality products from various small entrepreneurs. In addition, the store has a kitchen where dishes and desserts are prepared with Georgian ingredients. According to Makharadze, even though their store has been on the market for only a month and a half, demand is high.
“We were thinking about adding essential dairy products before, because the demand was very high, but the current events [the milk scandal] prompted us to speed up the process. In addition, on March 1, our store Margaliti collection was opened in Tbilisi. The brand store is located in Vera, where we can deliver products to the customers.
In addition to our products, Margaliti collection also presents products from other entrepreneurs. Our goal was to bring together the best products in Georgia. That is why we named it Margaliti collection. In addition, we also have a kitchen where dishes are prepared with Georgian ingredients. We also bake bread from Georgian wheat and prepare desserts with our butter and sour cream,” says Tina Makharadze, adding that the company is trying to create a sales point for small entrepreneurs.
According to her, yogurt is already on sale, and butter, sour cream, and other products will be added during the summer.
