Tamar Zodelava has been appointed as the chairperson of the State Grant Management Agency, a legal entity operating under public law.
The Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, signed the official order, and it was subsequently published on the Government of Georgia’s website.
According to the government administration, Tamar Zodelava has many years of experience in managing the complex projects.
As for her work experience and education, since 2003 she has worked in various projects and positions in the German International Cooperation (GIZ) team, and was also a project advisor for the Council of Europe and a project manager for the Eastern Partnership Regional Fund for Public Administration Reform.
Tamar Zodelava graduated from the Faculty of Law of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, completed a master's degree in German-language private international law. She also studied international economic law at the University of Bremen and has studied at the University of Public Administration in Speyer.
