Tbilisi’s music scene gains a new landmark as Tatuza Jazz Club opens inside the Telegraph Hotel, supported by TBC Concept. The club is named after legendary Georgian bassist Tamaz “Tatuza” Kurashvili, considered the founding father of Georgian jazz.
The grand opening takes place on September 16 at 9:00 PM, with a spectacular performance by three international jazz icons: Stanley Clarke, Beka Gochiashvili, and Dennis Chambers.
Tickets are already on sale, with special offers available: 20% discount with a TBC WM Visa card and 15% discount with a TBC Concept Visa card.
The club’s design combines artistry and world-class technology. Renowned French architect and acoustician Xavier Fabre crafted the space using rare materials to achieve outstanding acoustics. Georgian designer Ketuna Kurashvili created an interior that reflects the spirit of improvisation and deep listening. The sound system, developed by L-Acoustics and Meyer Sound (USA), ensures an unmatched audio experience.
Tatuza Jazz Club’s artistic direction will be shaped in collaboration with:
- Eastern Promotions – organizers of the long-standing Georgian Jazz Festival
- Joel Chriss – American jazz agent and industry influencer
- Lasha Gochiashvili – Georgian promoter leading the club’s programming.
With these partnerships, Tatuza Jazz Club aims to host world-renowned artists and usher in a new musical era in Tbilisi.
