TAV Georgia, together with the government of Georgia, is considering a new concept for Georgia air companies, - stated Thea Zakaradze, Deputy General Manager of TAV Georgia. According to her, this is about 3 mln GEL benefits for the air companies, based in Tbilisi Airport.
“We have already submitted to the government this concept, according to which we are offering special benefits to the air companies, which are based and registered in Georgia. We are talking about benefits of more than 3 mln GEL annually, however, this dependes upon the number of passengers, i.e., the benefits will grow as the number of passengers served by the company grows. Negotiations on this concept are still ongoing with United Airports of Georgia. There are new players on the market, like Myway Airlines, which is starting operating and it will be great if they manage to perform as many flights as Georgian Airways and get the same benefits,” – said thea Zakaradze.
