Tbilisi City Hall calls for expression of interest for replacement of “Khrushchovka” residential buildings. The Mayor of Tbilisi, Kakha Kaladze, talked about commencement of the project of replacement of Khrushchovka residential buildings at today’s government meeting.
According to him, at the initial stage, the project should include 170 households, who will be compensated within the limits of the project. As states Kaladze, call for interest will be announced for 6th and 8th blocks of Varketili III, where residential buildings are in particularly poor state. This part of the project involves 30 thousand m2.
The Mayor of Tbilisi encourages ptivate sector to get involved in the project. According to him, the project for replacement of Khrushchovka residential buildings should not be a one-time project and it will be continued in future.
