Tbilisi is currently hosting a delegation of investors from the United Arab Emirates as part of the third forum organized by Invest Georgia. The event brings together investors, representatives of brokerage companies, real estate specialists, and leading Georgian developers, including Metropol, Biograph Living, VR Holdings, Redco, and Astoria. TBC Capital is also presenting on the main trends in the Georgian real estate sector.
According to Teona Buzaladze, co-founder of Invest Georgia UAE, the visiting investors are primarily interested in real estate investments, including residential and commercial properties. She noted that delegates are keen to understand investment requirements, potential returns, and the range of opportunities available in Georgia, emphasizing that there are no maximum limits for investments in the country.
“We are a bridge introducing the Georgian market to UAE investors and providing insights into various investment opportunities. Georgia’s market is highly attractive for international brokers seeking alternative investment markets, and we see significant potential,” Buzaladze said.
Buzaladze highlighted that the forum focuses on quality engagement rather than the number of participants, with only 50–60 investors attending each session to allow for meaningful interactions. Past events have attracted major brokerage firms capable of $150 million in annual sales, and there is growing interest in large-scale investment portfolios, including hotels, casinos, and joint development projects. Delegates are also exploring potential partnerships to develop land and other real estate opportunities together.
She added that Invest Georgia plans to continue hosting similar events every three months and expand its role as a bridge between UAE investors and Georgia.
“Over the past six months, we have held three successful events, and we plan to maintain this momentum. This initiative not only strengthens real estate investment but also opens the door for other sectors to attract international capital,” Buzaladze said.
