Tbilisi Kindergarten Management Agency will spend GEL 863,100 on New Year gifts for 45,000 children. The procurement includes GEL 649,350 for candy gift sets and GEL 213,750 for wooden, holiday-themed toys.
Majid Al Futtaim Hypermarkets Georgia LLC was the only company to submit an offer in the market research for the candy sets, valued at GEL 649,350. The agency said an earlier electronic tender, announced on August 18, ended unsuccessfully on October 6, prompting revised technical specifications and a new market study. The candy sets are scheduled for delivery between November 30 and December 11, ahead of kindergarten celebrations planned for December 14–25.
Kokito LLC won the electronic tender for 45,000 wooden toys, with a contract worth GEL 213,750. The toys must be made from properly dried natural beech wood and feature six designs: Santa Claus, a reindeer, a penguin, a snowman, a Christmas tree and a gingerbread man.
The toys must comply with Georgia’s toy safety regulations and European standard EN 71. Water-based paint must meet EN 71-3 requirements, supported by a certificate or laboratory test report. Delivery is scheduled for November 2–13, with the toys to be transported to the candy supplier’s warehouse.
