The modernization of the Tbilisi TV Tower will be completed in 2028, according to Ekaterine Tordia, General Director of KASS Group. Speaking on BMGTV, she said the project will include a restaurant, panoramic observation decks, and a visitor center.
KASS Group has received a 25-year management agreement for the site and plans to invest around 50 million GEL in the project. Construction has already begun after the company secured the necessary permits.
Tordia said the renovated tower is expected to become one of Tbilisi's top tourist attractions. The company aims to create a landmark destination that will attract both international visitors and local residents.
She added that the project involved complex approval procedures because the tower is one of the capital's most important symbols. Demolition work has been completed, foundation work will begin soon, and the renovated tower is expected to open in 2028.
