The National Assessment and Examinations Centre has opened registration for certification exams targeting practising teachers and individuals aspiring to join the teaching profession.
According to the Centre, candidates may register via the website online.naec.ge until 18:00 on May 6. Applicants must pay the examination fee (for at least one subject) between 10:00 on April 20 and 18:00 on May 4.
“From 2026, teachers and prospective teachers are entitled to register for and sit examinations in up to three subjects, rather than being limited to a single subject, as well as the Senior Special Teacher and Basic Professional Skills examinations. Candidates should be aware that they are not permitted to choose subjects with identical test content, including cases where a subject’s test paper is a translation of another. The fee per examination is 50 Georgian lari, payable through Bank of Georgia platforms, namely the online payment system (bogpay.ge), internet banking (ibank.ge), the mobile application (mBank), and self-service terminals. Candidates requiring special examination conditions must tick the relevant box during registration and submit supporting medical documentation (Form N IV-100a) to the National Assessment and Examinations Centre or the relevant Educational Resource Centre by 18:00 on May 6,” the Centre stated.
The National Assessment and Examinations Centre urges all interested parties to read the examination requirements carefully and to complete their registration within the stipulated deadlines.
