Georgia’s National Assessment and Examinations Center (NAEC) will open registration for teacher certification exams on April 20 at 10:00 a.m., with applications accepted until May 6 at 6:00 p.m. Candidates must also pay the exam fee between April 20 and May 4.
Starting from 2026, teachers and aspiring teachers will be allowed to register for up to three subject exams instead of only one, alongside additional exams for senior special teacher and basic professional skills qualifications.
NAEC notes that candidates will not be able to select subjects with identical test content, including translated versions of foreign-language exams, in order to avoid duplication.
The fee for one exam remains 50 GEL, payable through Bank of Georgia digital platforms, and the agency is urging applicants to carefully review the updated procedures before registering within the deadline.
