The point is that Tengiz Tsertsvadze, head of the Center for Infectious Diseases and AIDS, declares that Georgia does not have the infrastructure and logistical resources for Pfizer vaccine shipment.
Tegeta notes in the statement that the company is actively involved in the fight against COVID-19 since the first day of the pandemic. The company is still ready to support the state and offer a high-quality refrigerated trucks that fully complies with the requirements of both the World Health Organization (WHO) and Pfizer.
“Refrigerated trucks solve the logistical problem related to the Pfizer vaccine shipment in the country. In addition, the trucks can be used as a “Vaccination Mobile Facility”. As of today, only a few big cities have technical resources for vaccination in Georgia. The trucks will make it possible to speed up vaccination in the regions. Tegeta Holding is ready to mobilize the relevant resources as soon as possible and get involved in the vaccine shipment with a professional team”, the statement reads.
